NH7 Weekender 2016: India’s happiest music festival is back

It wasn’t just another Gig that Shillong had witnessed on  21^st and 22^nd October 2016 with some jawbreaking  performances one after another, winning over an audience whose expectations were already skyhigh , the Sixth edition of NH7 Weekender couldn’t have come to a more triumphant begininning.

It was all started 6 years ago, the hashtag read #NH7kutheaahe, a nod to Pune, where the first edition took place way back in 2010.

Since then, the festival has grown each year adding all new experiences and surprises along the way. Last year only the Shillong was added to the roster and made lineup announcements.

While Shillong has witnessed the beginning of this festival with some hardrocking performances from International and National Artist, there is a full schedule of this festival in various cities with their lineup’s.

The international artistes that performed in Shillong were Steven Wilson, Natty, Rhythm Shaw, River, Mali, The Ritornellos and Vertical Horizon.

While the Indian part included  Farhan Live, Kumail, What Escapes  Me, Elephant In The Elevator and Wild Palms.
