Bacardi Nh7 Weekender-Pune 2016 is round the corner,music lovers are pretty excited as well, as they will again witness some of jawbreaking performances from the local as well as international artists.

A homegrown band based out of Mumbai is also participating in such event- Kanchan Daniel And The Beards comprising of Kanchan Daniel on Vocals, Kush Upadhyay as the Lead/Rhythm Guitarist, Mukesh Lobo on Keyboards, Anand Kamath as the Bassist, and Varoon Aiyer on Drums/Percussion.
They have been in this business from last 4 years . Formed in 2012, the band primarily focus on playing blues music having influences from R&B, soul, funk and psychedelic rock to create a unique sound.
Their journey started off with some gig performances in local bars and cafe like Kino108, Blue Frog and High Street Phoenix gaining a lot of hype for their renditions of songs like Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” , Lady Gaga’s “ Born This Way ”, Frank Sinatra’s ” Fly me to the moon ” and ” Let’s go get stoned ” by Ray Charles.
Since then the band hasn’t looked back and an year before they released their debut album having songs based on their personal experiences
They have also played at a number of prestigious festivals and venues, including Times Bandra Festival in 2014.
