What’s the one thing that comes to mind when you hear the word RockOn??
A film that describes the roller-coaster ride of friendship, emotions, bonding and certainly the music which is still remembered for its combination of soft and hard rock tracks and soulful stuffs.
After the huge success of RockOn-1 both as a film and a music album , Rockon-2 sequel was announced hence there is a huge expectations from the soundtrack of this sequel.
Can Rockon-2 will be able to create the same magik and live up to expectations or like any other film’s sequel it will also flop? And more importantly, if it’s music would be able to offer the same quality and uniqueness the country had seen for the very first time, expectations are quite high.
While we still have to wait till November to know how Rock On 2 would be doing as a film starring the returning cast of Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and new entrants Shraddha Kapoor and Shashank Arora, but we can certainly tell about the music of the film since it’s first track “Jaago” is released today and is definitely creating a lot of buzz around.
Opening scene of the song features Farhan Akhtar who is singing Jaago at a concert in an open air in Mumbai and the scenes themselves are pulsating with energy.
Music once again is Vibrant and gives you the adrenaline rush as the rock track plays out in the voices of Farhan and Siddhart Mahadevan.
Lyrics of the song spreads the message of liberation and talks about standing up for your rights and women empowerment. The stuff is so good that it goes straight to our favourite playlist.
